How to change purchase order template?

Let me provide information about changing the purchase order template, Don.

At the moment, the option to change the purchase order (PO) template in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unavailable. The only available template to use as a base for the PO is the standard template. If you make any changes to this template, QuickBooks will apply them to all your forms. To customize a specific form, you must create a new template for that form. After customizing the new template, you can set it as the default template to see the changes reflected.

I know the importance of having the option to change the purchase order template. While this option is currently unavailable in QBO, I recommend using a third-party app that can help you change the PO template.

Here's how to search for third-party apps in QBO:

  1. On the left menu, hover over Apps and select Find Apps.
  2. Use the search bar to browse for apps that can change the template in a purchase order.

You can also check this site: Apps

I'll also add this article to guide you in adding purchase orders to expenses or bills: Record a bill or expense after your vendor accepts the purchase order.

If you have any concerns about the purchase order template, please tag me in the comment sectionDon I'll assist you in any way possible.

How to change purchase order template?

I was unable to find an app to help. Current template for my QuickBooks online offers a column width of ~3" for rate and ~1" for Description. This makes for an unprofessional look for a PO. Description column width should be ~3" and rate ~1". Is there really no way to change this?

This is absolutely ridiculous given the size of Intuit and the cost per month.
