How to deposit checks from customers

If you created an  Invoice, you Receive Payment. It can be posted directly into banking if and only if you deposited it samd day and it alone in the deposit (such as by taking a picture). Otherwise post it to Undeposited Funds with other payments. Then Make Deposit ( gear icon. Tools. Make Deposit) and record what you did at the drive up bankibv window (most lobbies are still closed)

Hi there kenbowersdc.You came to the right place. Making your deposits in QuickBooks Online is actually a nice and easy process. Just follow these quick steps:

  1. Select New and then select Deposit.
  2. Now, select the Account the deposit will go to. 
  3. All your transactions from the undeposited funds account will be listed below. Select the ones that are included in the deposit being made. 
  4. Go over the deposit on last time to ensure everything is correct. To complete the process, select Save and Close
