How to get my invoice template from my web desktop

Hello there, rentals. 

 

I'm here with some alternatives in getting your invoice template to QuickBooks Desktop. 

 

While directly importing the invoice template is not possible, I want to assure you that QuickBooks Online provides an alternative solution called the Import Style feature. 

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Navigate to the Custom Form Styles page by clicking the Gear icon at the top right corner and selecting Custom Form Styles under the Your Company section.
  3. Click on the New Style button and select Import style.
  4. Follow the prompts to select and import the design elements from your existing invoice template.
  5. Once imported, you can further customize the template to match your preferences.

Using the Import Style feature saves time and effort in recreating your invoice template in QuickBooks Online. It allows you to maintain the look and feel of your previous template while taking advantage of the benefits and convenience of QuickBooks Online. I'll explain why you don't have an option for the Import Styles feature, rentals. 

 

Effective June 9th, 2021, the Import Styles feature inside QuickBooks will be inaccessible for new QuickBooks Online accounts. However, existing accounts can still use DOCX templates uploaded before this date.  

 

With that said, I encourage you to send feedback directly to the Developer team. They actively consider customer input to improve their services and may consider your feedback for future updates. By sharing your thoughts and suggestions with our developer, you contribute to the platform's ongoing development and help shape its features to better serve users like yourself.

 

To provide feedback, here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Feedback.
  3. Enter the information needed.

 

Incase you want to keep track of feature requests, you can do so by using the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
