How to get payed by customer account and routing number?

Only Cash, Check, or Credit is an acceptable payment on quick books. You can however link that customer through your Merchant account that goes through the bank.

How to get payed by customer account and routing number?

Hi there, joannamaldonado2.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing alternative steps to ensure you can achieve your goal.

The option to enter the account and routing number when accepting payment is currently unavailable if you're manually managing customers' payments.

However, if you're using QuickBooks Payments to add links to invoices so customers can pay online, you have the option to manually enter your account and routing number from there.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Payments account.
  2. Select Account, then Account Profile.
  3. Go to Deposit Account Information, then select Edit (or Add if you haven't added an account yet).
  4. Choose how you want to receive the code (text or voice call).
  5. Enter the code in the pop-up window.
  6. Enter the Account Type, Routing/ABA Number, and Account Number, then select Submit.

Furthermore, if you don't have a QuickBooks Payments account, you can sign up to complete the process above. You can open this article to see the steps on how to perform the task: Sign up for QuickBooks Payments.

Lastly, you may refer to this article to see details on how the Sales page gives you a great at-a-glance view of the status of your sales transactions, like open and paid invoices: View sales transactions.

Let me know in the comments below if you have other questions about managing customers' transactions. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Enjoy the rest of the day, joannamaldonado2.
