Can you share with me the type of report you're trying to filter in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)? Any additional info would be much appreciated.
Right now, you can a Profit and loss by Class to view your classes and subclasses. You can also filter this report to view the data that matter the most to your business. Here's how:
You can also memorize reports in QuickBooks if you want the same settings of the customized report to be available for future use.

Thank you. However I was hoping to be able to customize a report to show the subclasses are a column in addition to the classes.
