How to show partial payment on invoice ?

Invoices won't show it.  Maybe consider the Statement, instead.

Just_me is correct. There isn't a way to show the partial payment on the invoice. Instead, you can create a customer statement in QuickBooks. This displays a summary of their invoices, payments, credits, and balances.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Sales menu, then the Customers tab.
2. Select the checkboxes for the customers you want to make statements.
3. In the Batch actions dropdown, choose Create statement.
4. In the Statement Type dropdown, select Balance Forward.
5. Select the dates for the statements and the date range.
6. Review the customer's email addresses.
7. Hit Save, Save and close, Save and send, or Print or Preview.
