Hello, jcarpet1973.
Just_me is correct. There isn't a way to show the partial payment on the invoice. Instead, you can create a customer statement in QuickBooks. This displays a summary of their invoices, payments, credits, and balances.
Here's how:
- Go to the Sales menu, then the Customers tab.
- Select the checkboxes for the customers you want to make statements.
- In the Batch actions dropdown, choose Create statement.
- In the Statement Type dropdown, select Balance Forward.
- Select the dates for the statements and the date range.
- Review the customer's email addresses.
- Hit Save, Save and close, Save and send, or Print or Preview.
