I accidentally deleted a bill payment for a vendor. How do I restore it?

Hello, kitty-barton-kcw.

I want to make sure you're able to get the information of your deleted bill payment.

For now, we're unable to automatically restore it. What we can do is use the Audit Log to recover the details of the deleted transaction so you can re-enter the details into the account.

To access the Audit Log:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Tools, select Audit Log.
  3. Locate the transaction and click the View link under the History column.
  4. From there, you can re-enter the transaction using the information with its original transaction.

To learn more details on how to restore deleted transactions, please check this article: Use the audit log to re-enter deleted transactions

That's it. This should help you point in the right direction. Let me know if you have further questions. I'll be here to answer them. Have a great day!

We have multiple ways of recording the transaction. Before doing so, ensure to take note of the details of the deleted payment. The process of reentering it will depend on how it was tracked before deletion.

I'll show you the main way to do it:
