Hello there, houseflexnow.
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I can help figure out why you can't create invoices.
We'll need to check the access given to you by the Company or Master admin. You'll need to have permissions to access the areas of Customers & Sales to be able to create invoices. You can let them review your access rights to the company file to ensure you can access invoices.
Here are the steps on how to change a user's access rights:
I also have an article here that'll explain to you all types of permissions. You might want to check this article:

All this has been done, I have full access. I have had no issues before and all I am trying to do is raise invoices for current clients.
Thanks for joining this thread, Justine121.
Let me provide some information on why you’re unable to create invoices.
We’ve received reports that some customers are unable to add invoices in QBO. This is a current issue, and our engineers are of it (INV-56691). They’re working towards finding a permanent fix for this unusual behavior.
In the meantime, log in to your clients' companies using a mobile device and create the invoices from there. We also encourage all affected users to sign up to the notification list. Doing so ensures you’ll receive email updates about the investigation.
I recommend you reach out to our QBO Care for further assistance. They can add your company information in a secure space.

Morning, following on from yesterday I still cannot raise an invoice. The help feature isn't working either it is just a blank page that comes up. Below is what I can do:
Search and view items
Create new clients
It gives me the option to raise an invoice and anything else in the drop box and regardless of what I choose it will not take me to the next step.
I have full access to QB and have verified this, I have even been taken off the system and put back on.
Any ideas?
Justine
Hi @Justine121,
I appreciate you for getting back to us here in the Community. I'm here to help you raise an invoice successfully in QuickBooks.
Issues like blank pages and unresponsive options usually happen when there are problems in the web pages. We can use a private browser to open your account and see if you can raise an invoice or contact support from the Help feature.
It doesn't use the cache, which stores data that creates browser-related issues. Use these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:
If it works, let's clear your browser's cache to have a clean slate, so it'll function efficiently. In case private browsing doesn't work, I suggest using another supported web engine to determine if the issue is browser-related.
Additionally, I recommend visiting the following article to learn about how to print invoices or get a link to share with customers listed in QuickBooks: Create invoices in QuickBooks Online.
You're always welcome to post any questions you have in this space related to invoices. I'll be happy to help you some more. Have a good day.
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, we all use Waterfox and no one else is having issues with it at all.
Regards
Justine
all of a sudden I can not create an invoice on my QB desktop. IS there anyone that can help me?
I'll help you fix this, ewingtrucking.
The unexpected behavior might be caused by a corrupted file. Let's run the Verify/Rebuild utility to detect the data damage. Running the Verify and Rebuild utilities scans your company file for potential data issues and fixes them right away.
Here's how:
If you're still unable to create an invoice, use the QuickBooks File Doctor to fix your company file.
Keep me updated if you have any other concerns or further questions. I'll always have your back.
I verified my account, made a back up, down loaded QuickBooks Tool Hub, used the Program Problems and then the Company File Issues and it worked!! It is all fixed. Thank you for the reply and the help.
