You should migrate to QBO Online Plus or Advanced to manage inventories.

Otherwise, you may use QBO Simple Start or Essentials and integrate it with an inventory management app.

Hi,

You need to perform two tasks:

  1. Setting up inventory in QB.
  2. Creation of purchase bill

 

Inventory setup can be done by entering basic info such as inventory name, cost, type, category and initial quantity. 

 

Alternatively, you can create a purchase bill and create inventory directly from there. 

 

While creating a purchase bill, you need to create a supplier first. 

 

There, you can add all supplier info.
