I am trying to export my "P&L by Class" to Excel but when it exports, the formulas do not export with it. I only get the values in Excel.

I appreciate your effort trying to export the formulas from the P&L in QuickBooks Online to Excel, Kristine. However, I'd like to clarify why this can't be done and provide more context.

Before we move forward, could please tell me more about the formulas you mention? Any details you can provide would be helpful.

When exporting the P&L by Class report from QuickBooks Online to Excel, only data is transferred due to compatibility differences between the two programs. In addition, the data in the report is generated based on the filters you apply in QuickBooks Online.

Since Excel is a separate application, it uses different calculation mechanisms and therefore cannot directly incorporate the formulas from QuickBooks. If you need to perform additional calculations in Excel, you'll have to manually enter formulas that are compatible with Excel based on your accounting needs.

Additionally, to export your reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online. You can check this article as your guidelines: Export your QuickBooks Online data.

Moreover, I'll add some articles that contain valuable insights and tips that can help you get the most out of the QuickBooks Online class tracking feature: Manage classes in QuickBooks Online.
