I can't see my invoice history. On home page, it shows that I have invoices. It also shows the total combined amounts. But I can't find the invoices themselves.

Invoices do not populate on invoices tab, nor anywhere else as far as I can tell.

Hello there, @turbostart1915.

Let me share some information about how saved invoices work in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Once an invoice is made, the system will automatically save it and list it under the Invoices menu that can be found in the left part of your QBSE main screen.

Since you can't find your past invoices, we can perform these basic troubleshooting steps that I've outlined for your convenience.

First, let's log in to your account using a private browser to see if this has something to do with your browser as too many cached files can sometimes cause the system to act indifferently.

Here’s how to do the private browsing:

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

If this works, you can clear your regular browser's cache to refresh it. If the same thing persists, you can consider switching to another supported browser.

Here's a list of supported browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari 11 or newer

Should you need to organize your transactions so you know what area or your business has the biggest impact, feel free to read through this additional reference: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions along the way. I'm committed to making sure you feel confident in managing your invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed. I look forward to assisting you further. Have a good day.
