I cannot find where to setup workman's comp classes

Hi there, @michael-sosfleet.

Once you have the worker's comp insurance, you can add classes to the employee’s information.

Just sign in to your QuickBooks Online account and go to the Workers or Payroll menu and select Worker’s Comp. Depending on where you’re in the process, you can start a quote or manage your settings from here.

However, you can also manage workers comp manually if you don’t have a policy through AP Intego. You can get a quote in the Worker’s comp tab so that you can start setting up a class on the Employee.

Once done, you can assign classes to the employees. Here's how:

  1. Go to Workers and choose Employees.
  2. Double-click the employee’s name from the list.
  3. In the employee’s profile, tap the pencil icon next to Employment.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter the name of the worker’s comp class.
  5. Hit Done to record the changes.

You can check this article for more information on how to assign workers' compensation classes to your employees in QuickBooks: Assign a Workers' Comp Class to an employee.
