I have been using desktop, I only do invoices, no payroll. Since subscription required, I need the cheapest best option. I purchased Essentials. Is that good for invoices

and how do I sync my company to start essentials

Do you need to convert data from QB Desktop? Which year version do you have?

QBO Essentials should be enough for your requirements.
