I have categorized rental payments as rent (home office) but why don't I see them as business expense?

I have categorized rental payments as rent (home office) but why don't I see them as business expense?

It's nice to see you in the Community forum, @fsoysal.

 

The transactions under rent and lease (home office) will show up on the Home Office Deduction Annual report. However, on the Profit and Loss report, only the transactions categorized as rent and lease can be viewed as a business expense.
