Currently, receiving payments outside the US is unavailable for QuickBooks Online (QBO) US version. Thus, the program doesn't support multi-currency for merchant services.
I can see how this would be helpful to you and your business to have a smooth processing of payment. Therefore, I'll take note of this as a suggestion to improve your QuickBooks experience.
As a workaround, you can consider looking for a third-party application that can process payments outside the US or let your client pay through PayPal. They can also pay you directly to your bank. This way, you can easily categorize them on the Banking page.

If your client prefers to pay your invoice by a credit card, you will need another 3rd party app.
