I have items showing that are not valid bills and others showing I have turned off, but still show.

I'm here to provide the steps on how to remove the invalid bills in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @rpeters297-10

Based on your scenario, it looks like you're using Online Bill Pay. The bills won't appear on the Pay Bills Online page after you've turned them off. However, they will still display in the Expenses tab. If you're seeing them in this tab, that may be the reason the items are still showing though you've already removed them.

I'd suggest deleting the bills since they aren't valid. This way, the system will remove them from both Pay Bills Online and your QBO account permanently. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to + New from the left menu.
  2. Choose Pay Bills Online.
  3. Select the bills you want to remove.
  4. Click Batch actions.
  5. Choose Delete to confirm.

For the detailed instructions, see this article's Delete bills section: Turn Off, Add, Delete Bills In Online Bill Pay

However, if the bills are still showing from the Pay Bills Online page, the browser's stored cache may be full. To help fix this, you'll have to access your QBO account via a private browser. It doesn't store data in the cache. Thus, it's a great way to isolate the issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N

Once signed in, go back to the Pay Bills Online screen. If the bills aren't showing, let's clear the cache of your regular browser. It helps you remove the browser's stored cache so it'll function efficiently. Otherwise, you can use another supported browser.

I recommend paying your other valid bills when you're ready to settle them. Doing so will help ensure your vendor balances are up to date in QBO. For more details, visit this website: Paying Bills. This link also contains steps and articles on how to remove payments and manage bills in Online Bill Pay.

I'll lend a helping hand if you need anything else. Take care always, @rpeters297-10

I have items showing that are not valid bills and others showing I have turned off, but still show.

The problem is, the bills have been removed but they still show in bill.com.  I have also disabled the vendors from showing in bill.com, but they still show. The vendor accounts reflect nothing owed, but they still show bills due in bill.com.

The problem is the bills are not due.  The vendors in QuickBooks have a 0 balance but still, show money due in bills.com. I have even selected do not show these vendors in bill.com, but they still show. I cannot delete something that does not exist.
