I issued an invoice that shows it was paid via credit card 7 days (business) ago but the invoice status says Payment is 'In Review'. How long does it normally take?

This is my 1st invoice. Wondering if I missed something that is required on my end to help the deposit process.

When processing the first invoice and payment through QuickBooks Payments, there is a standard review process that takes about 5 days to set up your merchant account.

Sometimes, the review process could take longer, and we would need more information from you. If we do, we'll send you an email. Please check your inbox, including spam/junk folders, for any messages from QuickBooks.

Moreover, the speed of your deposits depends on your product and the type of payment. You can check your current deposit speed by following these steps:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon, then Account and settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

If your deposit is taking longer than expected and you haven't received an email asking for more information, please contact our QuickBooks Payments Support team for further assistance. They have the tools and expertise to review your account and explain the delays of your deposit. Here's how you can reach them:

 

  1. Hover to the Help menu and press the Search tab.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Choose a specific topic or Ask about something else. Type in a short description in the box provided.

  4. Select Continue, then pick the Chat or Callback option.
