While we can't consolidate vehicles in QuickBooks Online directly, I have a workaround that can help you achieve this. You'll need to delete the other vehicles and select one to choose as your main vehicle. Here are the steps you can follow to consolidate multiple vehicle entries into one:
- Go to the Expenses tab and select Mileage to access the tracker.
- Head to the All tab and select all trips you have assigned to other vehicles.
- Reassign their trip details from the Vehicle dropdown to your chosen automobile. (For example, you have vehicles named Car1, Car2, and Car3. You can choose Car1 as your merging vehicle, so you can delete Car2 and Car3 after reassigning their trip details)
- Click Save.
- Click the dropdown button beside the Add trip button and select Manage Vehicles.
- Select the other vehicles with no trips and click Vehicle no longer in use.
