I need to completely reset my QB... Can that be done?

Yes, we can reset your QuickBooks Online data. Please know that erasing the data can only be done if your QuickBooks company is within 60 days old. The steps below will guide you through the process.

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account as an administrator.
2. Edit the URL on the address bar. Remove everything after app/and enter purgecompany. For example https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
3. Click Yes to confirm the action.
4. On the next page, select Wipe data.

On the other hand, if QuickBooks is active for more than 60 days, we'll have to cancel your QBO account and create a new one so you can start from scratch.
 

1. Log in to your QBO account and go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Account and Settings.
3. In the Billing & Subscription, click Cancel or Cancel trial.
4. Hit Continue to cancel,
5. Answer the short survey, and select Confirm cancel.
6. To sign up for a new account, use this link: QuickBooks Online Plan.

If you are using QBO Simple Start, you should cancel it and signup for a new one instead.
