  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Enter your concern, then select Let's talk.
  4. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.
    • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.

I need to place my account on hold

Hello @jrs.disney, you can suspend your account and avoid the monthly subscription by:

  • Sign in as an Admin to your QuickBooks Online account
  • Select the Gear icon in the top right corner
  • Choose Account and Settings
  • Click Billing and Subscription
  • In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel
  • Select Continue to Cancel, then Continue to Cancel again
  • Finally, answer the exit survey questions - this feedback helps us make our Product better
  • Then scroll down and select Confirm Cancel

You are able to resubscribe to the same account within 12 months of the day you cancel.

 

The instructions @Just_me mentioned also work if you want to speak with an agent!
