I opened a new account at SunTrust. Am trying to use existing Direct Connect to access this account. however it does not show up in the choice list. Help

Hello deven-shah,

 

When connecting your bank account, QuickBooks will give you the option which bank to connect to. There are two possibilities why SunTrust is not showing as one of your options to connect to QuickBooks. It could be:

  • your bank is having a website maintenance as of that moment
  • your QuickBooks release version is not updated

I'd recommend verifying the website maintenance from your bank. You can attempt to reconnect your bank after their website maintenance.

 

If they don't have it, we can do a few troubleshooting steps.

  1. Update your QuickBooks release version.
  2. Close and reopen QuickBooks
  3. Connect your bank account.

Please let me know if you encounter any error message while doing those steps. Additional details would be much appreciated so we can get to the bottom of this.
