I queried my QB Desktop Pro 2017 how to view existing Purchase Orders. The feedback was to use the Vendor Bill Tracker. It's missing from Vendor menu, where did it go?

Let me share some insights about Vendor Bill Tracker.

The Bill Tracker in QuickBooks Desktop Pro makes it easier to create and process payables and purchase orders. However, the Bill Tracker in QuickBooks Desktop Pro is not available when multicurrency is enabled within a company file. If you already turn on the multicurrency, there is no way to change the settings because they permanently affect your company file's names, accounts, and balances.

However, you can still pull up your Purchase Order Report by simply going to the Reports tab in QuickBooks Desktop.

Here’s how.

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. On the dropdown, select Purchases.
  3. Then click Open Purchase Orders.

From there, you’ll see all of the transactions or records in Purchase Orders.

If you wanted to customize your reports, add or delete columns, personalize the font, or the style, you can check out this article to guide you how. Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

Hi Pabz_L

Thanks so much for your quick fix.  This lead to an acceptable solution.

It would be good to update the QB Help to mention that little detail that Bill Tracker is disabled when Multicurrency is selected.
