I sent an invoice to a client today and noticed from the activity log that the client viewed the invoice over 30 times. How do you stop this?

I sent an invoice to a client today and noticed from the activity log that the client viewed the invoice over 30 times. How do you stop this?

Hello jwinthrop,

 

The Activities field is only available when you set up the Online delivery option to Online invoice, and send the affected invoices.

 

We can change this setup if you're not accepting invoice payments through online. Let me show you how:

 

1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.

2. Select Sales tab and go to the Online delivery section.

3. Change the Additional email options for invoices field to HTML or Plain Text.

4. You can also put a check mark in the PDF Attached box.

5. Click Save and Done.

 

The Activities field will not be displayed even after sending the invoices to your customers.
