I switched to Simple Start. it did show estimates and invoices were included. I'm now trying to send an invoice and it says it's not included with Simple Start

It allows me to create the invoice but when I click send

Yes, you're right. Creating and sending invoices is one of the features offered in the QuickBooks Online Simple Start subscription.

 

Can you share with me the error message you're getting when sending your sales transactions? Any further info would be much appreciated.

 

For now, we could run some basic troubleshooting steps to immediately address the issue. There are times that too much cache accumulated in the browser might cause unexpected behavior in the program. This can be the reason why you're unable to send your invoices. 

 

To isolate the issue, access your account using a private window. This mode will help us identify if the error you're getting with is cache-related.

 

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

 

Then, create and send again your invoices

 

If you're successful in sending your transaction, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can also use another supported browser to open your QBO account and send your invoices. 

 

Additionally, there are several financial reports you can run to track your sales income in QuickBooks. They will show you helpful insights on the things you buy and sell, and the status of your inventory.
