Buy nowHello, Karen.
I'll show you how you can make a list of bills in QuickBooks Online.
You can pull up the Unpaid Bills report in QuickBooks Online. This will show you a list of all unpaid bills within a certain period.
Simply go to the Reports menu, then search for Unpaid Bills in the search box.
When select a bill from the report and pay it in full, it will be removed from the list.
However, if you're looking for a list that shows all of the bills with an indicator if they are paid or not, then you'll want to run a customized Transaction List by Vendor report. Here's how:
This is what it looks like after customizing the report:
If you have partially paid bills, they will still appear on both reports (the Transaction list by Vendor report will indicate an "Unpaid" status).
You also have the option to memorize the customized report for future use. This article can help you with the process: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.
Need to reconcile your bill payments and bank records in QuickBooks? You can pull up this article for a guide: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
Do you have any other concerns with your bills or other transactions? Please let me know the details and I'll hop on to this thread again to help you out.
Thank you for your help and the details about the reports! That is very helpful!
I have input bills before but preferred to just enter a check since it seems more streamlined. May give it a try again and utilize the recurring bill feature as well.
You're welcome, Karen!
I'm glad I was able to help you out with the reports.
Entering a check for your expenses is fine, too!
