I want to ensure that any payroll reimbursements go to the right account.
The category can be changed and corrected in the Payroll settings. I'll show you how to do it:
- Select the Gear icon. Then, go to the Payroll settings.
- Click on the Edit (pencil) icon for Accounting Preferences.
- Hit the Edit (pencil) icon under the Wage expenses section.
- From the Reimbursement drop-down, select the expense category where you want reimbursements to go.
- Once done, click on Continue, Done, Done.
