I would like to import journal entries but do not see import journal entry icon under import data. How can I turn this on? Example: payroll journal entry

I'll add some details about the availability for the journal entry import feature. 

Importing journal entries in QuickBooks Online is only available in other versions (the UK version for example). Currently, we can only enter them manually in the US edition. 

You'll want to look for a third-party app that lets you import your journal entries. You can go to the Apps menu, then search for one. 

Though, you can always enter those journal entries manually. Simply click on the + New button, then select Journal entry.

Our engineers might add the ability to import journal entries in the US version in the coming updates. For now, I suggest visiting our QuickBooks Blog from time to time for news about it.

This seems like such a basic feature to have.  Why is QBO so far behind on this basic feature?

Please sign in to your QuickBooks Online account to share with us your insights about the feature you want to include in the program. Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Feedback under Profile.
3. Enter your suggestion. Then, click Next.
   

You'll want to visit our Help articles page in case you got other QuickBooks concerns, such as setting up advanced reports, online banking, managing reconciliation, transactions, import and export data lists, etc.

Are you kidding me?  Why do you not have this available in the US version?  Why can you guys not get it together and be consistent across the whole program?  Why is QBO so different than desktop?  I really just don't get it!
