Good day to you, Larisa. I'm here to share some information on how e-filing 1099 works and whether your contractors will receive copies in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Depending on the IRS, they may email or mail a printed copy to your contractors when you file 1099s with us. Their 1099 copies might still be in the process. Just make sure that the email address from your contractors' profile is accurate and active.
If your vendors don't receive their forms within 7 business days after the said date, you can print their copies within your account and manually email them their 1099s. You can also contact our Customer Care Team for the most accurate information regarding when the emails containing the 1099 forms will be sent to your contractors. Here's how:
