Good day, @johanna.

The reports in Simple Start / Essentials / Plus or Advanced versions of QuickBooks Online (QBO) has the same interface compared to other plan subscription, however, some reports are only available for certain subscription levels.

Also, if you are referring to printing the General Ledger, yes you can do so.

I suggest you check this article to learn which reports are available for your version of QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, you may refer to this article if you know how to run reports to give you a snapshot of your business or if you want to customize your reports in QuickBooks Online.

One more question. We have used to use the time stamp on footer (central), but is it possible to get the time stamp on the upper left corner?

Thank you for getting back to us, @johanna.

I understand you have a question about changing the time stamp's location in QuickBooks reports. While QuickBooks reports typically display the Date, Report name, Company name, and Logo in the upper left corner, there is no built-in option to move the time stamp's location within the report. However, I'm here to guide you through an alternative solution that should help you achieve the desired result.

To adjust the time stamp's location in your report, you can export it to Excel and then manually edit the time stamps.  In Excel, you can easily move and edit the time stamp location to your preferred position in the upper left part of the report.

Here are the steps to export the report to Excel:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Search for and select the report you want to export.
  3. At the top of the report, select the Export icon.
  4. Select Export to Excel icon.
  5. Hit "Export to Excel" from the drop-down menu.

Once you have the report in Excel, you can edit the time stamp location by moving the cells around.
