In the new Invoice system, is there a way to "select all" billable hours from suggested transactions, and move them all over to the invoice?

We have multiple employees working on several projects.  With the new invoice system, I am no longer able to select all billable hours on a project.  I have to click on each employee, for each day of the billing period.  This will make my invoices 15 pages long!

I understand the importance of having a "Select All" option when adding the billable time in the invoice, @cbarnes4. Let me share some information about this matter.

The "Select All" option to add the billable hours from the suggested transaction in the invoice is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online, and you'll need to add it manually to the invoice. With this, I recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development team to consider and add this for future product updates.

Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Type in your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Select Next to submit.

On the other hand, I have another option that you can do to add all the billable hours in one go. You can follow the steps below for your guidance:

  1. Go to Sales, then select All Sales.
  2. In the Transaction type dropdown, select Unbilled Income.
  3. Select the time charges or billable hours related to the project or customer or click the box beside the Date column to select all.
  4. Click on the Batch actions dropdown, then select Convert to Invoice.
  5. Review the invoice, then once done, click the Review and Send or Save and Close.

Additionally, once your customer pays the invoice you sent, you can record it to connect it with the invoice and mark it as paid.

Let me know if you have other questions about managing billable hours in invoices or have any concerns about QuickBooks. I'm just a click away and ready to help you. Have a wonderful day!

This is outrageous.  I pay $500/month for QuickBooks time for a small consulting business.  I have 30-50 consultants entering time across a matrix of clients and managers.  How can the "group by" function be missing?  We are no longer able to create invoices with the data from QuickBooks time.  We are going to have to manually/offline figure out each invoice and then manually create a single line invoice to bill each person's hours for the month.  This defeats the entire purpose of an integrated time system.  This is a feature that worked for years up until last week.  In fact, it is the reason that we implemented QuickBooks time 5 years ago.  In addition to missing the "Group By", you can no longer group by product, which is how we separate each billing line.  People are sure going to be surprised when they try to create their first batch of invoices in the new system.

Absolutely ridiculous!. This change just killed my firm's invoicing process as well. Group time by service option needs to be restored

Why would Quickbooks remove an option that already existed and worked very well?????? Now I can no longer add new time entries to an existing invoice, but rather have to delete the invoice and then create a new invoice using the batch actions and the select all the DOS again. This is such an inconvenience and very frustrating.
