Hi there, @law3.
Checking the email history for invoices is a breeze. However, this option is only available if you’re using a browser. You can check out the steps below to get started:
From there, you’ll see all of the invoice transaction you sent to your customer.
We also offer a guide on the transaction audit history that I'm sure you'll find helpful. By viewing this Audit History, you can see every single change and action performed to a transaction.
I'm just here if you have any other questions. You can always leave a reply or post again if you need more help. Have a great day!
Thank you for your help! That wasn't quite what I needed, though. :)
I would like to see a record of when we sent the invoices and statements, even if we sent the same invoice more than once.
This just seems to show me the invoice itself and the original date.
For an overdue account I may want to print and send the invoice again or create a statement.
Is there a way to see a list of the dates that an invoices and statements were printed/emailed to a customer?
Allow me to jump in on this thread, law3.
I know the importance of being able to view when an invoice or statement was sent or printed. However, we're unable to pull up a list that shows these details in QuickBooks.
As a workaround, I recommend using our Audit log to show the information you need. I'll guide you how:
Aside from that, there are other ways the Audit Log can help you in managing your QuickBooks transactions. For more details, I suggest checking these article:
Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you print or email multiple sales forms. This helps you save more time by doing by batch instead of one at a time: Email or Print Multiple Invoices and Sales Forms.

I found this thread because I have found & used a screen that shows a customer invoice history on a vertical time line, i.e.
created DATE
|
|
sent DATE
|
|
viewed x times etc.
Unfortunately, I didn't make a note of what I clicked to get there -- but it wasn't the gear icon etc. as the answers in this thread prescribe. It was just a simple click SOMEWHERE. Does anyone know?
Thanks

This format seems familiar. You may be looking at the invoice history found in the Sales menu when you click an invoice in the Invoices section. From there, click the Invoice activity drop-down to show transaction history. You can check the screenshot below:
However, if you're using the QuickBooks Online mobile app, you can tap on the Menu ☰ and choose Invoices. Select an invoice from there, and then scroll down to see the Activity drop-down to see invoice history.
In addition, you'd like to utilize the audit log to view transaction changes. This way, you can see the ones who entered and edited specific transactions.
