Buy nowI have a custom column on my sales orders and invoices for a lot number. We work for local home builders and have to bill everything to a specific building lot. As of a last Wednesday (9/27), when I would create an invoice from a work order/sales order, all information including anything entered in the lot # column would carry forward to the invoice. As of Monday (10/2) everything EXCEPT data in the lot # column is carrying forward. No invoices were created from sales orders on the days in between and I made no changes to any of my settings.
Any ideas what could be causing this? I am using Premier Plus Contractor 2023.
Hi there, cameo530! Thank you for reaching out to the Community forum. We appreciate the detailed information you provided about missing information when creating an invoice from a sales order. Please know that experiencing QuickBooks challenges isn't what we want for you.
We have received reports that the information entered on a sales order's item-level custom field is not flowing over to the invoice's item-level custom field when creating an invoice from the sales order. To be added to the list of affected users, we recommend contacting our Live Support Team. We cannot provide an exact timeframe for resolution, but our engineers are working hard to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We will also send updates about the progress of the issue via email.

I have the exact same problem as cameo530. I've got the latest QB 2023 and have installed all updates. Also I've been using QB for over 20 years. It's not user error. It's something QB has changed in the last 2 or 3 days.
Sorry that you're having the same issue but glad I'm not just losing my mind. Like you, I've been using QB for 20+ years so I was pretty certain I wasn't the cause of the issue but verification never hurts.
