Inventory Adjustment QOH not matching other inventory reports

We recently entered an inventory adjustment for a physical inventory however our counts are still off. When going back into the inventory adjustment page to correct this issue I noticed that the listed QOH was not matching what was showing in our inventory reports. As you can see in the attached image, all other bins are showing zeros. We are also having issues with inventory transfers. We have a completed transfer in our system that should have corrected our QOH for a different item. However once again the transfer is seemingly not being recognized by QB. The chart of accounts seems to be fine, and we also rebuilt the data, but we are still seeing the same issues. Is there anything we could be missing here?

Inventory Adjustment QOH not matching other inventory reports

Welcome to the Community space, @Lee-A.

I am here to share some insights about your inventory adjustments that don't match your inventory reports in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

You can try to delete and recreate the adjustments and transfers to check if this is a transaction-related issue.

You can refer to this article for a detailed guide in adjusting your inventory: Adjust your inventory quantity or value in QuickBooks Desktop.

If the issue persists after deleting and recreating the adjustments and transfers, you can use the Client Data Review (CDR) tool. This tool is one of the best practices for clean-up tools as it enables users to fix common errors in their data.

It's important to note that access to the Client Data Review (CDR) tool is available in the QuickBooks Desktop for Accountant version. Therefore, I recommend reaching out to an accountant who has this version to utilize this tool.

Moreover, I'm adding this helpful article as your reference in changing your item's details in QBDT: Add, edit, and delete items in QuickBooks Desktop.

Please don't hesitate to return to this post if you have other concerns about your inventory adjustment in QuickBooks Desktop. I'll be here to lend a hand.
