we are commercial kitchen.. want to know what is the best way to track inventory for an item.. that is multiple stages..
1. In freezer storage unpacked in bulk
2. In freezer storage packaged not labeled
3. In freezer storage packaged and labeled.. will move to step 4 if threshold reached
4. in the merchandiser display freezer, packaged and labeled and for purchase by the consumer..
Don't want top create 4 different sku for the same item..
Tried using the department designation following the 4 different phases, but when i update the inventory as i move the product from different phases.. it is impossible to track inventory for each stage
