Inventory transaction report

Hi there, lskick4.

I can think of two scenarios for this.

If you want to run a report that has lists of the items revenue and expenses, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Company & Financial.
  3. Choose Profit and Loss Standard.

If you want to pull up data that shows the item's Manufacturer Part Number (MPN), this option is unavailable in QuickBooks. That said, I suggest sending feedback to our engineers. A feature request is likely to be implemented if they receive more feedback about it.

  1. Go to the Help menu, select Send Feedback Online, and then choose Product Suggestion.
  2. On the pop-up, enter a short description of your suggestion.
  3. Click Send Feedback.

As a workaround, you can export the Sales by Item Summary report and add the part number there manually. Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports Sales > Sales by Item Summary.
  2. Click  the Excel drop-down menu, then Create New Worksheet.
  3. Select Create New Worksheet and In New Workbook.
  4. Hit Export.
