Invoice from business to business

After sending a invoice from my  recycling company to be paid by another business... how long (after that other business has paid the invoice) does it take for those paid funds to be available in your business bank account that has a routing and account number?

For services rendered not physical goods.

Invoice from business to business

Welcome to the Community space, @Aclark30.

Let me help you shed some light. After the invoice has been paid, the funds will be available depending on the kind of payment mode used.

Most credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, and ACH payments next day, and if you process customer payments before 3 PM PT, then the payment will be deposited in your bank account the next business day. If you process it after 3 PM PT, then it will be deposited in two business days.

This is applicable to QuickBooks Online, Desktop, and GoPayments deposit schedules.

ACH payments will take longer during the first month if you're new to QuickBooks Payments. The payments will be received within 5 days for the first 1 to 4 weeks while we set up everything. Once everything is set up, an email will be sent to let you know your payments will process at normal speed.

If you use QuickBooks Online, you can check the current deposit through this:

  1. Go to Settings and choose Account and settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

For detailed information, you read through this article: Find out when QuickBooks Paymnst deposits customer payments.
