E-MAIL INVOICES KEEPS ASKING FOR PASSWORD and that credentials are incorrrect- that is wrong
Hi there, @TAX15.
I'm here to help you fix the incorrect password error when sending the invoices.
There are many reasons why you've got this error message even though the credentials are correct. I've listed the following scenarios below:
You can begin with updating the QuickBooks Desktop program to clear any data issues that block the action of sending an invoice through email. Here's how:
Once the update is complete, restart the program and test if you can now send the invoice using your web email. If you're still not able to do that, you can check out Step 2 in this article: Fix webmail password issues in QuickBooks Desktop.
You're welcome to share any updates after performing the initial troubleshooting steps that I've mentioned above. If there's anything else can do to help, please don't hesitate to let me know. Take care.
Thank you for your reply and tried your recommendation, but it does not work. Why all of a sudden the feature is not working.

1st - have been using yahoo mail to send invoices for the past 10 years with not problem - never had to turn on "two step" verification as the article mentions.
2nd - had used "emailing" invoices the day before this problem.
3rd - called Tech support the other day and the rep said it has been reported as an "issue"
4th - how do the users know if it is an "issue" or not????
5th - as a Beta tester never had this issue before - do not want to call tech support because they will have limited information
