Join nowQBO creates an invoice from all of the line items that have the designated customer or project. Each entry is listed on the invoice. Is there a way to summarize the line items into categories for the customer? I currently export the line items, then categorize them, total each category and then create an invoice in Word. Such a waste of time, effort and function. Does anyone know of a program out there that creates an invoice in the manner that I need?

Thank you for your reply. The problem is that we are not a retail or wholesale company. We are a general construction company. We need the labor to be categorized into different levels of skill and totalled as well as other aspects of construction. I have tried to categorize the suplies and materials but so far I haven't found a way to do labor and other aspects.
