I actually saw another post that was saying they were having issues with getting the app to work, as well.  Of course everyone from QB is saying  it's not the company's problem, so there is no fix until they figure out that it just may be an issue with the app.

OK Thanks! the online version is working fine, i just prefer the ap configuration.  it had an issue a while ago where i could not revise customer accounts - but i could on the online version.  Same response from QB said not them, our IT said is not us, has to be QB issue   It cleared up after about 2 weeks or so.  Hopefully this new issue will clear up soon as well.

I understand the importance of using the program without issues and glitches. Let me share some troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue with the QuickBooks Online (QBO) App.

 

Let's start by clearing your app's cache to refresh the data. There are times when the stored cache can cause unusual behavior in the system.

 

For Android:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top right.
  2. Choose Settings.
  3. Then, click Refresh Data and tap Yes.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Click the Menu button.
  2. Then, choose Help & Feedback.
  3. Select Refresh Data and click Refresh.

 

If the same thing happens, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app. It allows you to use the app on a clean slate. Please follow the steps below to proceed:

 

  1. Tap and hold the app on your phone.
  2. Drag the app to the Uninstall section.
  3. Select Yes to confirm.

If the same thing happens, can you provide us a screenshot of the issue you're having and if you encounter any specific error message when using the app? That way, I can check if there are any reported issues about this matter.

Unfortunately, this is a standard answer from QB.  They roll out a new version, change everything, and are surprised when things do not work.  QBO search has virtually stopped working, both in the app and the new app program.  You can clear the cache, clear the data, reinstall all day long, but it doesn't find invoices, estimates or po's.  Eventually they will figure it out, but in the mean time, business almost grinds to a halt.  For 90 bucks a month, it probably shouldn't be this way.
