Is it possible for QBO developer to "ask" if we would like to use the PO to create an invoice? I realize they are different ledgers - would be helpful to anyone else?

Great idea you have there, @ebaker.

I understand how important it is to be able to convert a purchase order (PO) to an invoice when running a business. As of now, this option isn't available in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

As a way around, you can utilize a third-party app that lets you convert your PO to an invoice. Simply go to the Apps menu inside your QBO account and look for an app from there. You can also visit our QuickBooks Apps store for additional reference.

Furthermore, you can also send your feedback to our Product Developer team. This way, they can review your suggestion and might consider adding it in the future. Let me show you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

You can also see this link for more details: How do I submit feedback?

You might also want to check out this article for future reference. This contains details on how to modify your invoice: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

I'm all ears whenever you need help managing your POs and invoices. Simply add them in your reply, and I'll take care of them for you. Keep safe, and have a great weekend ahead!

@ebaker

You may have a 3rd party app to do so.
