Is it possible to delete products or services after I've created them? Can I also delete accounts from the chart of accounts, or only disable them?

It's a pleasure to have you here today, @jose65. I'll share an insight about managing data you've entered inside your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.

In QBO, if you entered a product or service, and created an account inside your Chart of accounts, know that you can only make them inactive. That said, the option to completely delete specific data inside the program is unavailable. Making an item or an account inactive removes them from the list of usable data in your company file at the same time, you won't be able to see them from your lists.

Now, if you wish to make an item inactive, here's how:

1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
2. On the left navigational bar, go to the Sales tab.
3. Select Product and Services.
4. Choose the product or service that you'd like to make inactive, and below the Action column, click the Dropdown arrow.
5. Click Make Inactive.

Also, know that the idea of having the option to delete data you've entered inside the program is a great feature to have. I can help you send a feature request to our Product Development Team if you wish to have this option available. This way, they'll see your request and consider adding it for future program updates. To get you going, here's how:

1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
3. Below the Profile column, select Send Feedback.
4. Enter a brief description of your feature request.
5. Once you're ready, press Send.

You can use the deleter tool as long as there is no data associated with it.
