Is the Products and Services management not available with Self-Employed? I can 'edit saved item' in the invoice, but can't adjust any other paramaters of the items.

i have been facing similar issue for a long time. Any kind of help would be nice.

When editing an invoice, selecting a line item and choosing "edit saved item," there is an option at the bottom that says:

Go to Products and Services

But the link goes to no where and I can't edit any details of the product or service.

The option to add products and services is still unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). That will surely be a great addition to the current features that we have, so I'll take note of it. Once added, it'll surely let you add a SKU, category, or other details, add a new product or service. I also encourage you to leave the feedback from within the product. 

Just follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Assistant button from the top bar.
2. Enter Send feedback from the chatbox.
3. Click on Add a feature and enter your suggestion.

In the meantime, I suggest checking out QuickBooks Online to let you customize your invoices add SKU, category, and other details.
