I’ve replicated this on my end, and I confirmed that there is currently no option to set up a pop-up window for a customer that display notes when creating an invoice.
Having this in QuickBooks Online is indeed a great idea. I suggest sending feedback to our engineers for consideration in future product enhancements.
I’ll make sure to submit feedback on my end as well based on this interaction. Here’s how:
1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Select Feedback.
3. Share your feedback, then click Next.
In the meantime, I would recommend creating transactions under the customer’s profile for you to see the displayed notes.
