Is there a list of fields of reports where I can see which fields do not change or those that are permanent?

Is there a page that contains list of all fields of reports where I can see which fields do not change or those that are permanent? For example, the "Total Income" field in the Profit and Loss Report is permanent? I will be needing them because I'm currently developing uploads of quickbooks reports to our system for our financial report services. Thank you.

Let me provide you some information about Custom Fields, analizabongat.

 

There are fields that you can or can't be removed. Currently, we don't have a list of the standard fields in the report since custom fields will vary on the specific report that you're using. In QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can create custom fields for almost anything from sales reps, customer types, vendor IDs, PO numbers, or information unique to your industry. You'll also be able to manage your custom field in one place. Please read this article for more information: Use custom fields in reports in QuickBooks Online Advanced.

 

You'll want to customize your report so you can apply multiple filters. Most reports have the same set of filters. Some filters are only available on certain reports. For your reference, you can also export reports in case you need a copy. Our reports in QuickBooks Desktop doesn't have a template where you can find editable or removable fields. If you need to remove or add data on the report, you can use the Customize Report option for additional filters.

 

From there you can see which columns, filters and other data that can be removed or added. Other than that settings, the other information or display on the reports are all permanent.

 

While the preference you are looking for is not yet available, we normally introduce exporting the reports to Excel. That way, if a customer needs to edit or modify a report, it's easier to move the rows or add and remove additional data.

 

To export, tap the Excel icon at the top of the report, then select Create New Worksheet.

I am not concerned with fields that can be removed or those re movables but I what I want is the list of standard fields in reports that are permanent or cannot be changed. Thank you.

Is there a list of fields of reports where I can see which fields do not change or those that are permanent?

For what it's worth, I use the fields that are permanent the way I wish, not as per the names given to those fields. Like Address has the Tax number, Telephone has their status (local or imported) etc. That way I can have all info I need on my reports as there is a bunch of fields not available on the standard reports, yet I need them to file my monthly VAT returns etc.
