Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community. I hope you're having a great day so far. 

 

For this one, I recommend running the Transaction List by Customer Report. With this report, you have more customization options available than you would with the basic premade estimate reports. I'm including a screenshot below of my test account report to view as an example. 

 

 

Here's how you can run this report: 

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu. 
  2. In the search bar, key in Transaction List by Customer and click on the report. 
  3. From the top right corner of the report, tap on Customize
  4. Customize the report as you see fit. 

 

That should do the trick. For additional information about customizing reports, check out Customize reports in QuickBooks Online

Is there a reports that shows approved estimates, payments & open estimate balance?

The suggestion does not work.  I am looking to print a list of only open approved estimates, with any in-progress paid invoices listed and subtracted and a final column of what is still remaining open on the estimate.

Name, original estimate amount, payments, open amount  to be billed - these 4 columns.

Thanks for getting back with the Community, michaelsworkshop. I appreciate your detailed information.

 

If you're not able to customize a report like you'd prefer to, you can export a copy and edit it further outside of QuickBooks.

 

Here's how:
 

  1. Open the report you'd like to export.
  2. Click its Export icon.
  3. Select Export to Excel.
  4. Save your file somewhere you can easily find it, like the Downloads or Desktop folders.

 

In the event you're missing data when opening your report in Excel, the file may be in protected view. If so, you'll need to turn on Enable Editing to view your full report.

Thank you, I have been exporting to Excel and taking time to edit it.  The main problem is that it is capturing ALL estimates (Pending, Closed, Open, Deleted, etc). If I had a report that just captured the approved ones, this would be much easier.  Thank you
