Is there a way to change a setting so there is an automatic warning for a credit card surcharge when someone attempts to pay online?

I already have it noted in the invoice, in the invoice email, on the invoice email subject line, in the estimate, in the estimate email, and in the estimate email subject line. But customers almost always seem to miss it. Is there a way on Quickbooks end, when the customer clicks on the payment link in their email and they start to pay with a credit card, that it will 1. WARN them of the 3% credit card surcharge that we will be charging and 2. That it will automatically charge them that 3% fee for us so we don't have to issue another invoice just for the fee every time? Not sure if it is possible, but I thought I'd try to make life easier if we can! Thanks!

I see how it would be easy to manage fee if we have an automatic warning for a credit card surcharge for customers who pays online.

For now, adding the credit card surcharge for your customer's invoice isn't applicable. The credit card processing fees are only charged every time you process a transaction to them.

However, you may want to look for a third-party application. You can find a variety of third-party apps that integrates with Quickbooks on our website. Once you get there, look for and go through the list to see one that will work well with your business.

We can also do it in QBO by following the steps below:

Go to Apps on the left side menu.
Search for the app in the Find apps to streamline your work field.
Look for the app that supports the Batch Invoicing feature.
