I know a way to display the invoice number for a bill when printing your paper check, @Lpollock.

Thank you but that is way too labor intensive. I expect QBO to be more user friendly than the desktop version and in the desktop version there is a setting in the preferences to have an invoice number populate the memo on the checks you print....I also print checks from the 'pay bills' button.
