There’s a way to turn the customer into a job, and I’m glad to help you with that.
 

These steps below will guide you on how to move without deleting the information.
 

1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop account.
2. Select Customer at the top then, Customer Center.
3. In the Customer & Job section, look for the customer you want to turn into a job.
4. Pause the cursor on the little handle to the left of the name, to see your mouse become a four-headed arrow.
5. Click and drag it Under, then to the Right > Indent under the new Customer Name.
