Question: We need to re-link several bank accounts as they were not updating (automatically and the Update button didn't work either); however, this cause the same accounts to be listed twice. How to I correct? Thank you.
You can try merging the two duplicate accounts into one. Steps here. Keep in mind, though, that if you have transactions added in either two accounts, it will all show up into the account you want to keep. Good luck!
I'm getting an error message: You can't change the parent of this account because it or its parent is already set up for Online Banking or Web Connect.
However, the original account "parent" did not link to the bank account so when we tried to re-connect to the bank it created a new bank account in the chart of accounts.
