These are the things that we are going to do.
- Check location settings on your device.
- Disconnect Wi-fi networks while driving.
- Fine tune the mileage settings.
- Turn off background data and battery restrictions.
- Update the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
- Update your operating system.

In slow-moving traffic, your device may have problems monitoring mileage and logging the particular addresses of a trip. Fortunately, there are a few options in the program to increase the accuracy of this data.
Here's how to make those options available:
- Select the Menu ☰ icon.
- Select Settings.
- Select Mileage settings.
- To improve accuracy in slow-moving traffic, turn on the Track slow speed trips setting.
- To improve accuracy recording addresses, turn on the Boost location accuracy setting.
